Strike Off

Another alternative to remove a company’s name from the register of SSM is by way of strike off. This is a more simple and cost effective method. However, the Company can be reinstated by court within 7 years after the company has been struck off if any person not satisfy with the decision of Registrar to strike off the Company.

In order to file the strike off application, the Company shall fulfil all the requirements of SSM such as the Company is not carrying the business, it has no assets and liabilities, it does not have any outstanding debts and etc. Majority approval from shareholders in this matter is required.
